Position Overview
6 month contract Opening! Backoffice job with no external customer interactions, but high level of internal customer interactions with business leaders/SMEs, legal, compliance, controls, and specialty reviewers. Work revolves around customer disclosures that are customer facing/verbal interactions, which are high risk. The core work is low complexity in nature, facilitating the content certification process for a 'disclosure' inventory to allow business and partners to review content, approve or share feedback. The role will act on those decisions, obtain approvals, and update the database or take next steps to resolve outstanding certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the content certification process for a 'disclosure' inventory.
- Work with partners to review content, approve or share feedback.
- Act on decisions, obtain approvals, and update the database or take next steps to resolve outstanding certifications.
- Extract information from inventory and put into email templates to work with partners.
- Work primarily via email, JIRA, and database.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of prior experience with implementing, editing or updating procedures in banking or financial services industry.
- MS office experience - Excel, Outlook, Teams.
- JIRA experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, English or Communications.
- Prior experience with procedure review in banking with credit cards, personal loans, collections.
Soft Skills
- Attention to detail– mistakes could mean mismatches between database inventory and the customer facing version.
- Strong execution and follow through.
- Strong communication skills– most interactions will be via email or IM. Strong written communication is a must, but there will be a need at times to interact via phone/teams meeting with partners.
- Flexibility and ability to handle ambiguity.
- Teamwork/collaboration – expected to help each other but will have support from more senior roles. Being able to fill in or back someone up to allow the process to continue will be a must.
Schedule
- Will start 100% in-office during training period and then move to hybrid schedule.
- Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in office and 2 out each week.
- Hours: Team members work an 8 hour shift between 7:00am-6:00pm CST Monday-Friday.
