Position Overview

At Pacsun, we are seeking an experienced eCommerce Systems Sr. Architect to drive innovative enhancements across our Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform, mobile app, and integrated eCommerce ecosystem. Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance and support Pacsun's e-commerce platform and mobile app – Design, implement, and customize Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions, including item catalogs, promotions, price books, and product data.
  • Manage end-to-end project execution – From gathering requirements to deployment and post-live support, ensuring innovative solutions that elevate the online customer journey.
  • Integrate with enterprise systems – Build and maintain integrations between SFCC and ERP, order-management, CRM, payment gateways, and other third-party platforms.
  • Oversee system operations – Monitor performance, manage instance states, run health checks, and uphold security protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and drive continuous improvement – Investigate system issues, analyze root causes, and implement fixes to enhance scalability and reliability.
  • Optimize customer experience – Utilize analytics and A/B testing to refine navigation, search, product pages, checkout flows, and mobile app performance.
  • Manage release and sprint execution – Plan sprint releases, execute configuration changes and code deployments, and perform testing for stable operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally – Work with merchandising, marketing, operations, IT, finance, and customer-experience teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership – Offer technical guidance, review code, and foster continuous skill development among team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Over 6 years of hands-on expertise in large-scale retail eCommerce and digital technology; proficient in Salesforce Commerce Cloud and mobile applications.
  • Proven ability to excel in dynamic, fast-growing environments with competing priorities; solution-oriented with strong leadership skills.
  • Track record of managing multiple concurrent projects while maintaining schedules and budgets.
  • Excellent team builder and leader with deep knowledge of information security standards and PCI compliance.
  • Expertise in optimizing eCommerce platform performance, A/B testing, and ensuring scalability during peak seasons.
  • Experience with modern software delivery methodologies, including DevOps, Agile/Scrum, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Strong command of project governance best practices and proficiency with tools such as Jira or Atlassian Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Operate with the highest level of conduct, integrity, and confidentiality, setting a leadership example.
  • Develop and nurture strong cross-functional partnerships, driving transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
