Position Overview

The Director of Marketing & Public Relations will lead high-impact marketing initiatives for an internationally-renonwed RV rental organization. This 6-month contract role—with the potential to convert to a full-time position—is focused on demand creation and market activation ahead of the peak summer season. The successful candidate will optimize brand presence, ensure messaging consistency, and drive top-of-funnel marketing efforts in a fast-paced, strategic, and execution-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns to boost brand presence and drive demand.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Drive top-of-funnel demand through digital, traditional, and grassroots marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate integrated funnel efforts and collaborate on new product launch strategies.
  • Manage PR agency partnerships and oversee budgeting to secure high-value earned media.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience Required: 8+ years in marketing leadership with specialization in brand management, integrated campaigns, and demand creation.
  • Proven expertise in emerging digital channels, creator partnerships, and sophisticated content marketing techniques.
  • Demonstrable experience managing PR agencies, budgeting, and executing strategies that deliver measurable results.
  • Prior leadership experience in high-growth marketplaces or consumer travel and leisure brands.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cultural activation and executing innovative grassroots marketing strategies.
  • A track record of securing high-value earned media through non-traditional activations.
