Job Description
Position Overview
Epic is seeking a talented UX Designer to lead the experience and visual design for multiple development teams. This role requires you to work directly with end-users to understand their needs, research workflows, and observe application use, and then collaborate with developers to create intuitive, beautiful applications—from initial sketches and wireframes to high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes. Based on our campus in Madison, WI, relocation assistance is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the lead experience and visual designer for multiple development teams.
- Meet with end-users to gather insights, research workflows, and observe application usage in real contexts.
- Collaborate with developers to design intuitive applications with sound information architecture.
- Demonstrate ideas through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Contribute to a team dedicated to joyful design and innovative user experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Available to start before June 2026.
- A solid portfolio demonstrating strong user experience and visual design skills.
- Education or experience in user-centered design techniques.
- Bachelor's degree or greater.
- Relocation to the Madison, WI, area (assistance provided).
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
