Job Description
Position Overview
KBR is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support our SPARC Program for KBR's Science and Space division. At KBR, we define the future by bringing together innovators, thinkers, creators, explorers, volunteers, and dreamers with a shared goal of improving the world responsibly and safely. In this role, you will support research and treatment studies for brain health within our military and Veteran community by providing strategic and tactical guidance to create and implement a comprehensive marketing and outreach campaign. You will work closely with a top-tier research and study team and take charge of community outreach, scheduling, performance tracking, and partner engagement – with up to 75% field work.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, assess, develop, design, coordinate, and conduct outreach initiatives to achieve program objectives in the assigned region.
- Support all outreach initiatives by coordinating program scheduling, materials management, and event planning.
- Coordinate with peers across regions to build a cohesive and standardized approach.
- Plan and coordinate both outreach and community events.
- Implement promotional strategies with a strategic mindset and support administrative tasks associated with marketing initiatives.
- Develop and maintain community relationships, specifically within end-of-life, military, and veteran local/regional partners.
- Track team performance goals and generate real-time insights to support brain donation initiatives.
- Collaborate with supervisory and senior leadership across regions for outreach coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Must have a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with 3-5 years of engagement and outreach experience; an additional 4 years of directly related experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Prior experience implementing and coordinating outreach initiatives in areas such as medical sales, end-of-life sales/marketing, law enforcement, civic leadership, or military/veteran engagement.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing complex Customer Relationship Management systems, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in utilizing various marketing and outreach tools (print, presentation, audio, video).
- Reliable transportation and a current driver's license, as daily use of a personal vehicle is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in end-of-life and/or military environments.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regional partners.
