Job Description

Essential Job Duties

  • Market Intelligence: Conduct deep research into competitors, pricing trends, and market direction within the energy and infrastructure sectors.
  • Sales Enablement: Create competitive pricing matrices and technical “battle cards” to assist sales and engineering teams.
  • Stakeholder Analysis: Identify and document procurement criteria for key purchasers, including engineering firms, utilities, and government entities.
  • Product-Market Fit: Analyze industry feedback and competitor roadmaps to provide data-backed recommendations for product enhancements.
  • Content Support: Provide insights for sales collateral, technical documentation, and website content to ensure messaging aligns with market needs.
  • Strategic Growth: Identify opportunities for SEO focus, trade shows, and professional organizations to increase industry presence.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years in market analysis or technical marketing within industrial, energy, or telecom industries.
  • Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret technical electrical power systems and translate them into value-based market insights.
  • Analytical Rigor: Proven experience in competitive benchmarking and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and sales.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for presenting research-based insights to leadership.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in Industrial UPS, hybrid power, or backup power applications.
  • Familiarity with government procurement or rail and public safety environments.
  • Experience supporting sales teams with positioning materials rather than direct sales execution.
