Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Manager of Talent Sourcing and Pipelines plays a pivotal role in ensuring future talent availability at Children’s Hospital Colorado. This role creates and executes a talent pipeline strategy, enhances talent sourcing, builds strong partnerships with the community and local colleges/universities, and elevates recruitment marketing and events initiatives. Reporting directly to the Director, Talent Acquisition and partnering with peers and HR, this position also manages the day-to-day operations of an exceptional talent pipeline program – The Medical Career Collaborative (MC2), designed for high-achieving, motivated high school students interested in health or medicine.
Ideal for an innovative leader with expertise in pipeline and sourcing development, strong leadership, exceptional communication, and change management skills, this role embeds a strategic talent plan into the overall Talent Acquisition strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages the design, implementation, maintenance, and oversight of human resources policies and programs, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards. Assists in developing strategic human resources plans, goals, and objectives.
- Leads team members in research, analysis, solution development, planning, implementation, and resolution of operational issues; defines and maintains internal processes and procedures.
- Develops and implements human resource communications and training initiatives for all levels of the organization.
- Builds and maintains strong working relationships with clients, leadership, vendors, outsourced administrators, and providers.
- Interprets and explains human resources policies, procedures, and rules to managers and team members while ensuring legal compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Ensures optimal use of team members and financial resources, shifting allocations based on business needs and budget constraints.
- Establishes performance metrics for team members, assists in achieving performance standards, and identifies opportunities for continuous growth.
- Implements customer service standards; resolves operational and customer service issues through inclusive decision-making.
- Selects, trains, develops, and evaluates team members; makes decisions regarding hiring, terminations, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
- Participates in developing budget recommendations for operating expenditures.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a directly related field is preferred.
- Experience: Five years of experience in designing and maintaining human resources policies and programs.
- Equivalency: In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, one year of professional experience will serve as an equivalency to one year of education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous grant writing experience is a plus.
