Position Overview
Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager–Must live in the TRI-STATE Area. Topix Skin Health is seeking a dynamic and creative professional to lead the social media strategy and influencer marketing efforts for ourDERMA Eandthinksunbrands. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty and skincare, a deep understanding of social media trends, and a proven track record of building brand awareness through influencer partnerships and innovative digital marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) for both brands; create and curate engaging, on-brand content; manage content calendars; and monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics.
- Influencer Marketing & Partnerships: Oversee box sends and gifting strategies for influencers, track KPIs and social responses, and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure timely send-outs.
- Content Strategy & Creative Direction: Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually compelling content, coordinate photo and video shoots, and design social-first campaigns to drive awareness, education, and sales conversions.
- Community Management & Engagement: Lead community manager consultants to foster an engaged online community by responding to comments and messages, monitoring customer sentiment, and organizing online events and giveaways.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, e-commerce, and product teams to align social media strategies with broader marketing initiatives, integrate influencer content into advertising, and support retail partnerships through targeted activations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in social media and influencer marketing, preferably in the beauty or skincare industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, best practices, and analytics tools.
- Proven track record managing multiple social media accounts and developing cross-platform strategies.
- Established network of influencer contacts in the beauty/skincare space.
- Creative mindset with the ability to innovate and adapt quickly to changing trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills; self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
