Position Overview
Marketing Manager, New Restaurant Openings based in New York. The Marketing Manager – NROs will support new restaurant openings primarily focused on East Markets including New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, North Carolina, and more. Ideal candidates have previous experience in retail launches, community marketing, promotions, media, and store operations, and are comfortable juggling multiple projects while executing prebuilt processes and playbooks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop go-to-market plans for new restaurant openings across various markets by leveraging integrated marketing frameworks to drive in-store sales at opening.
- Utilize project management tools to track progress, assign tasks, and ensure timelines are met during multiple openings.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with local influencers and like-minded brands through community engagement programs.
- Collaborate with store operators, executing marketing efforts and adjusting strategies to align with specific business needs.
- Manage budgets for openings, monitor spending, and adjust as necessary to align with financial constraints and goals.
- Research and onboard local agencies or contractors to support on-the-ground marketing efforts such as PR, influencer, and community marketing.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in regional or community marketing and new restaurant openings.
- Proven experience managing teams and collaborating cross-functionally.
- Established network of connections to support successful launches.
- Strong ability to prioritize initiatives and manage budgets effectively.
- Demonstrated track record of driving brand awareness and customer acquisition.
- Creative, business-minded thinker with a keen understanding of cultural and brand trends.
- Self-starter who works independently with flexibility and adaptability.
- Must be based in New York or New Jersey (Boston-based candidates will also be considered) and willing to travel up to 30-40% annually.
