We are seeking Full-time Chinese, Spanish, or Russian Speaking Medical Assistants in Brooklyn, NY! No Medical Assistant Certification needed – training provided. Immediate Hire! Compensation: $21 - $23 Per Hour.

Job Summary: The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in supporting a team of nurses and nurse practitioners in delivering exceptional patient care by remotely monitoring vital signs, accurately documenting patient information, assisting with inquiries, managing medical records, and ensuring compliance with RPM programs and healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with nurses and nurse practitioners to remotely monitor patient vital signs through dashboards.
- Address alerts on the dashboard and promptly communicate with patients.
- Demonstrate exceptional phone communication skills with empathy and professionalism.
- Remind patients to take required measurements and accurately document results in patient charts.
- Escalate patient calls to nurses or nurse practitioners when necessary for further assessment.
- Maintain and update patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in the EMR system.
- Manage incoming calls from patients, providing compassionate support and assistance with inquiries.
- Perform data entry tasks in Salesforce, including closing and monitoring opportunities.
- Conduct outbound calls to provide instructions, gather information, and address concerns.
- Utilize the EMR system—specifically AdvancedMD—to input and manage patient data.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations as required.
- Schedule virtual patient appointments with Nurse Practitioners, coordinating with patients and the healthcare team.
- Ensure strict adherence to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and uphold the organization's code of conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, or Russian.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in using EMR systems; experience in AdvancedMD is a plus.
- Strong grasp of patient care procedures and medical terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide empathetic and supportive patient interactions.
