Position Overview
SASE - Software Engineer role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise is designed as an onsite position with an expectation to work primarily from an HPE office. As part of a global edge‐to‐cloud company, you will help design and implement mission critical cloud applications for Silver Peak’s SD-WAN offering, driving cutting‐edge solutions that connect, protect, and analyze data.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new features for the Silver Peak Orchestrator web application.
- Manage SD-WAN enabled networks.
- Contribute to both backend and frontend development of web applications.
- Write white-box unit tests for your implementations.
- Collaborate with remote teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Java-based server-side development.
- Experience building web applications for cloud deployments.
- Proficient in developing database applications using SQL.
- Skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and REST APIs.
- Strong ownership mindset, problem-solving skills, and self-motivation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems/Applications.
