Job Description

Position Overview

At U.S. Bank, we’re on a journey to empower our customers and communities to make smarter financial decisions and succeed. In this role, you will support, maintain, and automate existing management reporting systems; engage in projects to analyze business needs; and design, develop, and test new processes. You will also provide off-hours on-call support for our management reporting system and AWS ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and validate the nightly month-end process ensuring successful completion and data accuracy.
  • Query and analyze financial data from our Oracle database.
  • Debug failed processes and procedures in PL/SQL and Python.
  • Create new Oracle objects and procedures using PL/SQL and Python.
  • Redesign, develop, and maintain our documentation information system.
  • Support our AWS ecosystem and financial reporting systems and processes.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, providing support as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, CS, Statistics, Math, Accounting, Finance or Economics, or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically, four to six years of related experience.
  • Strong technical skills in SQL and Python.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in PL/SQL for Oracle.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Well-developed analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of financial systems and analysis.
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and analyze data.
  • Familiarity with various computer applications, programming, hardware, software, microcomputers, and systems design.

Compensation: $81,515.00 - $95,900.00
