Job Description
Position Overview
At Mary Kay, a global company committed to enriching the lives of women and their families, over 5,000 employees support millions of Independent Beauty Consultants worldwide. In this role, you will assist and support our US Events, Marketing, and PR/Social Media teams by managing communications, project tracking, and logistics to ensure seamless execution of campaigns, product launches, and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Pre-Event and Onsite Event Support for the US three major annual events (Seminar, Leadership and Career Conference) and other events as needed.
- Coordinate several small projects before and onsite at main events, including VIP seating, resupply ordering, event volunteers, information changeover for scripts and speeches, and special recognitions.
- Work closely with internal partners and external vendors to coordinate various event aspects.
- Organize and schedule training and informational meetings for volunteers prior to events.
- Travel as needed to provide on-site event support.
- Manage Post-Event Support, including preparing post-event surveys, coordinating with the communications team for survey distribution, and facilitating virtual show access.
- Oversee Product Requests and Mailings by building makeup kits for events, placing product orders for Social Media and PR initiatives, and managing collateral for mailings and sample shipments (domestic and international).
- Lead Marketing Quarterly Alignment & Strategic Communication meetings to ensure timely sharing of product launch, promotion, and marketing initiative details.
- Collect and report product-related feedback to aid in quality control and product development decisions.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as needed, such as scheduling meetings, ordering office supplies, and volunteering at events.
- Note: This role requires on-site work at a Mary Kay facility.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience Required: 3+ years of experience supporting multiple functions simultaneously; experience supporting Events and/or Marketing teams is preferred.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently on multiple projects.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain assistance from subject matter experts and maintain open two-way communication with internal departments.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of work time for special events.
