Aircraft Engine Mechanic - SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES

Position Overview

Segula Technologies, a global engineering and consulting firm specializing in aerospace, automotive, energy, rail, and life sciences, is seeking an experienced Engine Technician for a Contract To Hire opportunity. In this role, you will inspect, maintain, and repair turbine engines, APUs, and related airframe systems while adhering to strict safety and maintenance regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Per diem: Weekly per diem for candidates who live over 150 miles away from the location.
• Adhere to general work requirements.
• Inspect engines, APUs, components, and associated aircraft systems in accordance with appropriate maintenance manuals with minimal supervision.
• Assist with installation, removal, modifications, and repairs of turbine engines, APUs, and airframe systems or components.
• Perform and document work per appropriate manuals and regulations.
• Assist with engine/APU operational checks, functional tests, and complete engine runs.
• Assist with off-aircraft component repair.
• Effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
• Operate ground support equipment and industrial vehicles/equipment (scissor/boom lift, forklift, etc.).
• Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies, including participation in 5-S activities.
• Perform work in a safe and timely manner.
• Utilize basic PC skills as required.

Required Qualifications

• FAA Powerplant License is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Engine Technician, Powerplant Technician, or in a related aerospace role.
• Demonstrated background in aircraft mechanics with engine experience.
• Must own and maintain hand tools with effective inventory and control capabilities.
