Position Overview

Dewberry's Location: Orlando, FL office is currently seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer - Electric Vehicle (EV) & Telecommunications. Our EV & Telecommunications engineering department is looking for a client-focused, highly motivated, organized, outgoing, and aggressive engineer eager to make an immediate impact while developing both project management and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field data collection
  • Preparation of civil site plans
  • Coordination of design and schedule with clients and team members
  • Design work including grading, erosion control, and stormwater management
  • Preparation and coordination of Electric Vehicle (EV) and wireless facility designs
  • Tracking project progress
  • Construction control and inspection

Required Qualifications

  • Education: BS in Civil Engineering is required
  • Experience Required: 0-2 years in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Effective communication with clients, team members, and sub consultants
  • Development of technical design documents for leasing, zoning, and permitting
  • Creation of technical reports, memorandums, and other written communications
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Interest in expanding skill sets beyond civil engineering, including project management, geotechnical, electrical, and mechanical areas

Preferred Qualifications

  • F.E. preferred with P.E. track expected
