Position Overview

Join Stanley Black & Decker as a Finance Director – Lowes – Hybrid. In this key role, you will be part of our ~$6B US Retail Commercial Finance team working under a hybrid model. You will lead financial strategy, manage P&L responsibilities, and collaborate closely with sales leadership and channel marketing to drive overall commercial initiatives.

Location: Towson, MD, United States; New Britain, CT, United States; Charlotte, NC, United States
Salary: $115,800 - $199,755 per year (Maryland base pay; additional compensation elements may apply)

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales leadership and channel marketing to drive overall commercial strategy.
  • Navigate customer segments through various internal processes and cadences.
  • Be a key decision maker on pricing, promotional activities, and customer back-end programming decisions.
  • Provide P&L management and balance top line growth with margin expansion targets.
  • Manage customer close, forecast, and RSA processes.
  • Lead a high performing team of two direct reports.

Required Qualifications

  • A results driven mindset with an emphasis on delivering customer and business commitments.
  • Experience operating in a large, cross-functional, and matrixed organization.
  • Proven history of improving processes and managing multiple, competing priorities.
  • 12+ years of relevant work experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or commercial finance roles within a Consumer Products company, with exposure to Retail Big Box customers.
  • Understanding and experience analyzing external market drivers influencing consumer retail demand across residential, repair, and remodel end markets.
  • Proven ability to “connect the dots” across disparate data points to build fact-based assumptions and drive forecast accuracy.
  • Ability to develop concise narratives and executive-level communications to articulate performance results and key business dynamics.
  • Working knowledge of ERP and financial reporting systems (experience with SAP and Hyperion is a plus).
