The role of Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis - Central Finance is based in Pittsburgh, PA at BNY. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced financial analytics and reporting to support senior-level management and the Board of Directors.
  • Identify and monitor trends, presenting findings to finance leadership.
  • Partner with finance peers to address common needs across business lines, including enhanced financial reporting and dashboarding.
  • Conduct advanced trend analysis on financial data and operating performance for complex topics.
  • Participate in the development of the annual operating plan.
  • Perform detailed historical or predictive analyses to support end-to-end finance processes, including period close support and performance comparisons.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in financial services, preferably in planning and analysis or engineering finance functions.
  • Experience working with complex financial data and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, dashboarding, and management reporting tools such as IBM TM1 is highly desirable.
