Marketing Assistant ( eCommerce )

Position Overview

Instant Email Copy is on a mission to accelerate eCommerce and small business growth. We empower eCommerce business owners to grow and scale through email marketing. Based in Portland, Oregon, you will join an exceptional team of expert marketers, copywriters, and strategists as our lead Marketing Assistant—with opportunities to advance as the company evolves.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and collect needed client information for various projects
• Setup different logic, A/B tests, and campaigns within Klaviyo (an e-commerce software)
• Report on various A/B tests
• Help organize training, projects, and communication between team members using Asana, Slack, and emails
• Send proposals to current prospects
• Audit various email programs and identify areas for improvement
• Perform other tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

• Agency experience: 2 years
• Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree or related field
• Minimum Experience: 3 years
• 1+ year experience using Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or other related email software
• 1+ year experience using Slack, Asana, Basecamp, or other project management tools
• Basic understanding of copywriting, design, and marketing strategy
• Experience working alongside copywriters, designers, and data scientists
• Attention to detail with an eagle eye for typos and errors
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for email marketing
• Desire to empower small and medium sized e-commerce companies
• Ability to work in Portland, Oregon
