Position Overview

As a Cellular 4G/5G Firmware Data Science & Machine Learning Engineer, you will be at the center of developing innovative firmware and sophisticated data science pipelines that integrate machine learning models into embedded systems. Work collaboratively across teams and transform advanced hardware elements into coordinated designs that elevate product performance globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a groundbreaking data processing pipeline based on machine learning models.
  • Integrate and deploy ML models within the firmware automation system.
  • Demonstrate data science algorithms to parse extensive data and logs in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate closely with firmware engineering teams to drive debugging and performance enhancements.
  • Brainstorm and develop models and algorithms to solve complex challenges and create actionable insights.

Required Qualifications

  • BS degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficient Python developer with 3+ years of experience using standard ML tools such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, and HuggingFace.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (including LLMs) with the ability to optimize models for various challenges.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing end-to-end machine learning projects.
  • Ability to think creatively and support solutions focused on automation and reducing manual processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD degree.
  • 5+ years of Python development experience using standard ML tools such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, and HuggingFace.
  • Demonstrated track record in developing machine learning or deep learning models, including feature engineering and end-to-end project implementation.
  • Experience applying analytics and statistical methods to transform data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Postgres), SQL, and non-relational databases (e.g., Mango DB).
  • Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills with a keen desire to learn and evaluate new technologies.
