Position Overview

ProSights is a data extraction platform for finance professionals that helps private equity firms, investment banks, consulting firms, and other professional services organizations automate manual data entry powering critical workflows—from portfolio monitoring and reporting to deal and client work. Our platform leverages the latest AI models to extract, structure, and validate data from unstructured documents at scale with full auditability. We are a small, highly driven team based in NYC focused on building a generational company for finance professionals. We are hiring an Account Executive who will own the full sales cycle with leading financial and professional services firms. You will drive new revenue, expand existing relationships, and help customers transform their workflows by eliminating manual data entry. This role is in person in our New York City office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle with private equity firms, banks, and consulting firms—from prospecting and discovery to close and expansion.
  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of opportunities across target accounts and segments.
  • Conduct thorough discovery to understand current workflows, data entry processes, and pain points, and map them to ProSights use cases.
  • Deliver clear, compelling product demos showcasing how ProSights automates data extraction and integrates with existing tools and models.
  • Collaborate with founders and product teams to structure pilots, design forward deployed use cases, and incorporate customer feedback into the roadmap.
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes with senior decision-makers and hands-on users.
  • Work with customer success and operations to ensure smooth onboarding, measurable time-to-value, and multi-team expansion.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene while providing structured feedback on go-to-market motions, messaging, and pricing.
  • Represent ProSights at industry events, conferences, and customer workshops as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 6+ years of experience in a client-facing role in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or B2B sales targeting these buyers.
  • Strong understanding of how finance professionals use Excel, PowerPoint, and internal systems, including the challenges posed by manual data entry and reconciliation.
  • Comfortable selling to senior leaders (partners, MDs, CxOs) while engaging deeply with associates, analysts, and operations teams.
  • Proven track record of owning and closing complex deals or projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical products and AI-driven workflows in practical terms.
  • High ownership mindset, comfortable in open-ended environments where you help define processes rather than just follow them.
  • Genuine interest in how AI is transforming finance and in building tools that practitioners use daily.
  • High attention to detail across presentations, follow-ups, and commercial terms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling B2B SaaS, data, or AI products into financial or professional services.
  • Existing network within PE, investment banking, or consulting that can be leveraged for early pipeline generation.
  • Familiarity with data extraction, document processing, or workflow automation tools.
  • Prior startup or early stage experience where you helped build a go-to-market strategy from the ground up.
