Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer [REMOTE - Dallas, TX or Phoenix, AZ]

As a Zippy Guide (Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer), you will transform the manufactured home financing experience by guiding homebuyers through a
transparent, efficient, and supportive process. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvements in our internal processes and help expand
access to affordable homeownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate consumer loans – take applications, collect conditions, and prepare loan files for underwriting decisions.
• Communicate effectively – engage with applicants via phone, chat, email, and text.
• Share best practices – contribute insights, lessons learned, and challenges to a growing team of MLOs.
• Provide feedback to engineering – advocate for business and consumer needs to continuously improve Zippy's technology.
• Optimize internal processes – focus on efficiency, risk management, and delivering best-in-class consumer outcomes.
• Manage risk – act as the front line for risk decision-making on new loans.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in loan production, ideally in housing-related lending.
• Must be a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator in relevant states—or willing to obtain the license.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software tools.
• Strong communication skills with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal abilities.
• Self-starter capable of working proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Consumer-first mentality, adaptability, and a collaborative, innovative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are highly desirable.
• Insurance Agent License in relevant states.
• Preference for candidates located within 75 miles of Dallas, TX.
