Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Polishing and Grinder - General Labor Manufacturing professional to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for precision finishing, grinding, and polishing of metal and sheet metal components to meet quality standards. This position plays a vital part in ensuring the production of high-quality parts through skilled use of various fabrication tools and machinery. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Hours: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Duties

• Operate polishing machines, grinders, and fabrication equipment such as CNC laser cutters, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and plasma cutters to shape and refine metal parts.
• Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to inspect parts for dimensional accuracy.
• Perform welding, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly tasks following specified standards and procedures.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to identify defects or deviations from specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in manufacturing environments involving grinding, polishing, or fabrication processes.
• Ability to operate hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices accurately.
• Ability to work safely with cranes, forklifts (forklift certification is a plus), and heavy machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to manufacturing processes and machinery operation.
