Our client is looking for a highly skilled and innovative Advanced Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their state-of-the-art facility in Miami, Florida. This role is critical in optimizing production processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards in our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in industrial engineering principles, coupled with hands-on experience in modern manufacturing environments.

Your Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include analyzing existing manufacturing processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions for improvement. You will design, develop, and test new manufacturing methods and equipment to increase productivity and reduce costs. This position requires extensive collaboration with production teams, quality control, and research and development to integrate new technologies and materials. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials for production staff. Troubleshooting complex manufacturing issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions will be a core part of your daily activities. Furthermore, you will contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives, Six Sigma projects, and continuous improvement programs to foster a culture of excellence.

Qualifications

The successful applicant must hold a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field. A Master's degree is a plus. A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in manufacturing process engineering is required, with a strong emphasis on advanced manufacturing technologies. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, statistical process control (SPC) techniques, and project management methodologies is essential. Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong analytical skills, and exceptional communication and teamwork skills are necessary.
