Manufacturing Technician - Biotech Start Up

Position Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Technician in Sorrento Valley – Biotech. In this role, you will be responsible for kitting and packaging operations where you kit manufactured cartridges, prepare them for shipment, and ensure precision in a temperature-controlled environment for both national and international clients. You will also perform filling operations, operate process machinery, and follow work instructions housed in a cloud-based application.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct kitting and assembly operations for manufactured cartridges.
• Prepare cartridges for shipment in a temperature-controlled setting.
• Perform filling operations ensuring accurate placement within the flow cell.
• Operate process equipment including balances, pneumatic presses, pumps, and heat sealers.
• Follow work instructions for heat sealing, labeling operations, and ensure proper alignment of flow cells.
• Manage bulk formulations, ensure product quality, and cut off excess foil using specialized machinery.

Required Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Team player mindset with strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience with assembly, production, and cleanroom operations.
• Ability to manage batch records and labeling requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfortable leading a fill and pack line.
• Basic buffer formulation skills.
• Willingness to learn or experience with small volume aliquoting.
• Manufacturing (MFG) experience preferred.

Compensation

Pay range: $22.00 - $24.00/hr (eligibility requirements apply based on job classification and employment length).
