Territory Sales Manager Jr.

Position Overview

Candidates must reside in the Greater Phoenix, AZ area. Industrial Metal Supply Company, the Southwest’s leading metal service center and distributor, is seeking an energetic sales professional to develop a long-term sales career in the metal industry by selling products in the lucrative Phoenix metro area.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan daily routes and call on customers and prospects to build relationships.
• Build territory/account approach and monitor resources.
• Partner with local facility leaders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Utilize ERP systems and Sales Force effectively.
• Prioritize concurrent customer demands and provide satisfactory service.
• Balance internal and external customer service requests.

Required Qualifications

• Metal Industry Outside or Inside Sales experience in the Greater Phoenix area preferred.
• Willingness to train entry-level sales professionals and/or recent college graduates.
• Familiarity with the local metal industry with a focus on Steel, Stainless, and Aluminum products, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Excellent professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in fast-paced environments.
• Flexible and creative in providing solutions.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of sales experience preferred; junior level applicants with a hunter mentality will be considered.
