Position Overview

Sales Representative – Houston, Texas (Medical Equipment Sales). Southwestern Medical Reps, Inc., an established independent sales organization specializing in high-tech rehabilitation equipment, is seeking a highly motivated sales professional to represent our 17 partnered manufacturers in the Houston territory. This commission-based role offers Compensation starting at $68,000 per year with potential for a six-figure income. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping others, especially those facing mobility challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales calls with retail home care dealers and healthcare professionals
  • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to Physical Therapy Departments in hospitals, schools, Veteran Hospitals, and nursing homes
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure the best fit for patients’ mobility needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in medical facilities
  • Travel within the South Texas territory as required
  • Manage leads, appointments, and sales goals effectively

Required Qualifications

  • Based in Houston, Texas or surrounding areas
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in medical sales
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently
  • Proven track record of success in strategic sales
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with diverse healthcare professionals and institutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • ATP (Assistive Technology Professional) certification preferred, but not required
  • Experience in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy
  • Prior experience with wheelchair seating and mobility sales
  • Strong understanding of rehabilitation equipment and related technologies
