We’re seeking a Senior Finance Systems Manager to lead the transformation of our internal finance and accounting infrastructure, ensuring scalable systems, real-time insights, and enhanced collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance Transformation & Strategy: Lead finance operations transformation by deploying modern systems, automation, AI, and process reengineering; define and drive a strategic roadmap aligned with company initiatives and regulatory needs; champion continuous improvement in processes, controls, and analytics.
- Platform & Ledger System Management: Administer and evolve our ERP (NetSuite) and custom financial systems, ensuring architecture supports scale, compliance, and accurate data flow across core workflows; manage reconciliation and exception-handling processes.
- Automation & Operational Excellence: Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual input and improve close timelines; leverage SuiteScript, workflows, APIs, and third-party tools to streamline integrations and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Reporting, Analytics & Data Governance: Own financial data pipelines and reporting architecture; develop dashboards for FP&A, Accounting, and leadership; maintain robust data governance practices.
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between Finance, Engineering, and Product for systems design and support; lead cross-functional projects for upgrades and integrations; align technical decisions with evolving business goals.
- Documentation & Engineering Best Practices: Maintain detailed documentation for systems architecture and processes; implement version control and structured release cycles to support organizational change.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in finance systems administration, ERP strategy, or financial technology leadership.
- Proven track record in finance transformation—designing and leading initiatives that improved finance operations and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of NetSuite (SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics) and integrations (e.g., Celigo, APIs, SFTP).
- Strong understanding of accounting workflows, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Excellent cross-functional project management and collaborative communication skills.
- Experience with internal ledger systems or custom finance platforms is highly valuable.
- NetSuite or finance systems certifications are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to AI tools such as OpenAI or custom ML pipelines.
- Experience deploying AI solutions for reconciliation, classification, or forecasting.
