Position Overview
GFT is seeking a Marketing & Communications Strategist to join our MarCom team in Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, Mechanicsburg, or Valley Forge) or Maryland (Owings Mills or Baltimore). Working within GFT’s Shared Service Services team—which spans Human Resources, Legal, Accounting & Finance, IT Services, and Marketing & Communications—the role is essential in supporting our global operations and transforming business efficiency. This position requires a strategic marketing professional who can both execute a comprehensive marketing program and contribute high-level strategy to bolster our thought leadership and brand excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development and execution of marketing plans and associated budgets in alignment with GFT’s Strategic Plan.
- Understand business group positioning and implement tactics to grow thought leadership programs while evaluating marketing effectiveness.
- Maximize use of the customer relationship management (CRM) system to support business development.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and maintain a portfolio of integrated marketing materials, including award submissions, advertising campaigns, brochures, direct mail, emailers, blogs, presentations, and webcasts.
- Steer, coordinate, and support trade show and special event strategies, including pre-event positioning and post-event follow up.
- Develop website content and work with the creative team to produce multimedia presentations and videos, ensuring digital marketing strategy is reflected on social media channels.
- Support the maintenance of corporate marketing systems and applications in line with business and corporate strategies.
- Follow all corporate marketing communications procedures and protocols.
- Perform thorough QA/QC reviews of deliverables and lead marketing strategy sessions for internal clients with confidence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field.
- Over 7 years of progressive marketing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) or Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) accreditation is preferred.
- Exceptional planning, project management, and coordination skills.
- Demonstrated creative thinking with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of communicating with employees at all organizational levels.
- Expertise in translating complex subjects into compelling communications for broad audiences.
- Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in various marketing delivery vehicles, including video, podcasting, website content management, CRM systems, and social media.
- Proficiency in AP Style with exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
- Knowledge of layout and graphic design principles to art direct projects.
- Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel to GFT offices and participate in industry events and professional conferences.

Compensation:$65,000 - $75,000 salary range (dependent upon experience and geographic location).
