Cybersecurity Operations Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer with over 2 years of experience who is quick to learn and adapt. In this role, you will oversee Fruth Group’s security infrastructure on-site in the Greater Phoenix Area while managing both human and technological resources to ensure robust and compliant security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage cybersecurity resources and systems throughout the organization.
• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions that comply with federal objectives and industry best practices.
• Train employees on cybersecurity best practices.
• Delegate tasks, monitor team performance, and provide direction to fellow cybersecurity professionals.
• Oversee updates to existing security systems and lead efforts to address security breaches.
• Develop and adjust security strategies as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong leadership and resource management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and collaboration skills.
• Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity systems and infrastructure.
• Earned applicable certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), Certified Information Security Technology Professional (CISTP), Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security, and AWS Certified Security – Specialty.
