Job Description

Position Overview

This role can be based anywhere in the US as long as it is near an Accenture Corporate Office. Supply Chain & Operations at Accenture moves fast – we deliver digital transportation and logistics solutions using SAP TMS. As a transportation and supply chain professional with strong SAP TMS expertise, you will design and deliver innovative transportation solutions to enhance freight planning, execution, and visibility across complex networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and implementation of SAP TMS solutions to optimize transportation planning and execution.
  • Work with clients to assess transportation needs, identify pain points, and configure TMS solutions accordingly.
  • Leverage SAP TMS features like load consolidation, route optimization, freight rating, and carrier collaboration to improve performance.
  • Assist in system integration projects, ensuring seamless connections between TMS, WMS, and ERP systems.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve transportation efficiency.
  • Train and support end-users in TMS functionalities and best practices.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including client workshops, solution demonstrations, and proposal writing.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years in transportation or supply chain management, with 3-4 years of SAP TMS experience.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP TMS configuration, load planning, and route optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement certifications.
  • Experience with other SAP Digital Supply Chain Solutions such as EWM, YL, or BN4L.
  • Experience in transportation analytics, AI-driven routing, and automation.

  • Compensation: A reasonable range of compensation is provided based on factors such as office location, role, skill set, and experience. For example, salary ranges include California ($94,400 to $293,800), Cleveland ($87,400 to $235,000), Colorado ($94,400 to $253,800), District of Columbia ($100,500 to $270,300), among others.
