Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Finance Associate to join their Banking and Finance Practice Team in Grand Rapids, MI. This role involves assisting with a variety of transactions, representing both commercial lenders and borrowers in single- and multi-bank deals.

Duties

  • Assist in structuring, negotiating, and documenting credit facilities.
  • Represent borrowers and lenders in commercial finance transactions.
  • Manage working capital lines of credit, term loan facilities, and real estate facilities.
  • Handle asset-based lending transactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years' experience in commercial finance transactions.
  • Experience with both secured and unsecured, syndicated, and single-lender deals.
  • Admission to the Michigan bar.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Michigan.
