Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Finance Associate to join their Banking and Finance Practice Team in Grand Rapids, MI. This role involves assisting with a variety of transactions, representing both commercial lenders and borrowers in single- and multi-bank deals.
Duties
- Assist in structuring, negotiating, and documenting credit facilities.
- Represent borrowers and lenders in commercial finance transactions.
- Manage working capital lines of credit, term loan facilities, and real estate facilities.
- Handle asset-based lending transactions.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years' experience in commercial finance transactions.
- Experience with both secured and unsecured, syndicated, and single-lender deals.
- Admission to the Michigan bar.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law in Michigan.
