Position Overview

Pinnacle Precision Sheet Metal is focused on build-to-print manufacturing of simple and complex sheet metal, machined, welded components and assemblies in support of commercial aircraft, medical and various industrial applications. For over 50 years, we have grown to be an industry leader in precision sheet metal fabrication, operating as an AS9100D registered corporation in a full service 73,000 sq. ft. facility offering rapid prototype, pilot and production runs, assembly, welding, spotwelding, CNC machining, painting, and silk screen printing. Position Summary – Deburr: We are looking for experienced individuals in Industrial Deburred/Detailer/Line Grain in a manufacturing setting. You will use your hands, fingers, and tools to clean, deburr, polish, and/or grind surfaces of precision machined metal products and parts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review the work order and ensure all prior processes are signed off and completed.
  • Select proper equipment according to work order specifications.
  • Deburr and hand-finish parts as required by specifications using established procedures, machines, and tooling.
  • Smooth edges and finish metal parts according to specifications.
  • Create the first part and bring it to your supervisor for approval.
  • Inspect finished parts for conformance to design and “Build To” requirements on documentation.
  • Work independently while maintaining a fast and steady pace.
  • Create the last part and bring it to your supervisor for approval.
  • Keep work areas clean.
  • Maintain basic timekeeping and job records on a computer database.
  • Notify your supervisor if any tools, equipment, or safety gear is damaged or inoperable.
  • Follow all safety rules and report any safety concerns.
  • Utilize a wide variety of basic deburr and hand finish tools, both electric and pneumatic (e.g., right angle grinder, orbital sanders).
  • Frequently perform work and inspect precision parts.
  • Perform rework assignments as required.
  • Ensure all parts paperwork and documentation are completed properly.
  • Enter all required data accurately.
  • Inspect finished work to ensure it meets the required specifications.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ prior experience manufacturing components within the Aerospace industry is desired.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, blueprints, and work instructions and operate standard machine shop tools.
  • Knowledge of basic math.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; English proficiency is required.
  • Ability to interact effectively with supervision, management, and customer representatives.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of workplace Health and Safety requirements.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
