Position Overview

Frontier is currently undergoing a financial restructuring and building a strong business foundation to become a leader in technology, customer service, and operational excellence. As part of our evolution, we are advancing our digital and e-commerce capabilities to fuel industry leading results. The Lead Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist is a critical role on our growing Digital team at Frontier Communications, focused on maximizing organic search traffic and enhancing our online presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Product Management and Marketing to ensure critical keyword lists are created and maintained.
  • Collaborate with Digital Copywriters to develop website copy that is contextually keyword rich and optimized for search engines.
  • Identify, prioritize, and implement optimizations to enhance website crawlability.
  • Manage and optimize the Frontier.com on-site Search functionality (Adobe Search and Promote).
  • Oversee Frontier.com accessibility efforts and ensure compliance with current accessibility standards.
  • Create and execute a plan for third party backlinking to enhance Frontier.com credibility.
  • Build customized dashboards and reports to monitor and analyze organic search trends to uncover further improvement opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience managing SEO campaigns and programs with a focus on driving sales.
  • Deep knowledge of search engine algorithms and hands-on experience with SEO best practices to improve site rankings.
  • Experience managing on-site search management tools (experience with Adobe is a plus).
  • Proficiency with web analytics applications and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with website interaction, UI/UX, and backend tools is preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, including intermediate abilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using web analytics and optimization tools.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks concurrently to meet larger goals.
  • Capacity to independently learn new tools and technologies, leveraging the latest trends to support the business.
  • Proven project planning, tracking, and organizational skills.
  • A team player and relationship builder, effective at working cross-functionally with peers, management, and other stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to quickly adjust to unforeseen changes in priorities and workload.
