The VP, Engagement & Omnichannel Strategy is a seasoned engagement strategist within Imre’s Precision Experience Practice. This mission-critical leadership role requires a full stack marketer passionate about harnessing the power of data, insights, MarTech, channels, content, and creativity to better serve customer needs and drive tangible business impact. The successful candidate will alternate seamlessly between high-level strategic thinking and hands-on tactical execution while leading client engagements and innovative omnichannel strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engagement strategy for a portfolio of brands/accounts as part of collaborative, multidisciplinary teams, ensuring organic business growth.
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of each client’s business, including brand, disease category, competitive landscape, target audiences, and key goals.
  • Lead annual (and interim) tactical planning efforts in partnership with brand strategy, from insights and ideation to tactic development and presentation.
  • Serve as the steward of a brand’s unified ecosystem strategy, defining each channel’s role to ensure consistent, impactful customer experiences.
  • Identify opportunities to implement omnichannel principles for delivering personalized, orchestrated customer experiences at key moments.
  • Lead omnichannel planning and execution projects, including customer journey mapping, goal definition, and experience design.
  • Oversee day-to-day project execution from conception to completion, ensuring strategic alignment and success.
  • Partner with Account teams to proactively identify and secure opportunities for organic business growth.
  • Collaborate with Creative teams to bring strategic thinking and creative campaigns to life through impactful tactical executions.
  • Work with the DnA team to develop measurement plans, integrate insights into performance reports, and recommend optimizations.
  • Play an active role in new business efforts by developing capabilities presentations and leading, or supporting, multidisciplinary pitch teams.
  • Stay current on emerging trends, channels, platforms, technologies, and methodologies within and outside of healthcare.
  • Act as an agency and client thought leader by authoring POVs and blog articles, leading training sessions, and sharing best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (MBA or other relevant graduate degree a plus)
  • Experience Required: 8+ years of agency experience (Creative AOR or Digital AOR experience) and 5+ years in pharmaceutical/healthcare marketing (both HCP and DTC) and in an engagement or omnichannel strategy role
  • Broad discipline knowledge including research & insights, customer segmentation, ecosystem strategy, omnichannel marketing, digital media, social media, SEM/SEO/AIO, content marketing, relationship marketing, event/experiential marketing, and marketing analytics
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging trends, channels, technologies, and platforms within healthcare (both HCP and DTC) and their impact on marketing strategy
  • Hands-on experience in leading tactical planning efforts for healthcare brands and in designing/executing data-driven, personalized omnichannel plans
  • Experience with agency new business efforts, including activation strategy and storytelling (proposal writing, presentation development, and live pitching)
  • Familiarity with core MarTech platforms and user-level data needs; experience with Veeva and marketing automation platforms is a plus
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Proficient in creating impactful presentations; a PowerPoint “power user”

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary: $180,000-$220,000/annually
  • Salary dependent upon experience and location
