Position Overview
Join the FIFA26 team in Dallas as the Manager, Marketing & Promotions for the historic FIFA World Cup 2026™ – an event set to redefine global sports with 48 teams across Canada, Mexico, and the USA. This Fixed Term - Full Time role in the Commercial & Marketing department offers you the opportunity to plan and deliver exceptional, cutting‐edge marketing solutions in a dynamic, high‐intensity environment.
Reporting to the Director, Brand & Marketing, you will collaborate closely with the FIFA Miami team and other key stakeholders to ensure best-in-class design and execution for the world’s largest sporting event.
Key Responsibilities
- Work effectively in a high-intensity environment, managing a large volume and variety of projects for the world’s largest event.
- Manage day-to-day expectations of all teams and partners, making critical decisions to drive first-class marketing executions.
- Create and implement marketing plans including advertising campaigns, promotional activations, and digital strategies to reach target audiences for the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
- Bring creative local ideas for ticket sales, event attendance, and social activations to support collaborations and trending promotional opportunities.
- Monitor progress and deadlines for marketing projects aligned with key milestones.
- Execute activations for milestone campaigns such as Official Mascot, Trophy Tour, Official World Cup Poster, FIFA Fan Festival, promotional giveaways, retail premium items, and partner integrations to boost brand awareness.
- Manage budget, track expenses, and ensure marketing assets and media are both effective and cost-efficient.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, brand, creative, host cities, communications, event marketing, strategy, commercial) and external partners to ensure brand consistency.
- Handle logistics including tour bookings, vendor coordination, printers, agencies, and on-site setups for special events and activations.
- Maintain proactive communication with external agencies through regular updates, recaps, and organized meeting schedules.
- Collaborate with media outlets to ensure timely and accurate advertisement placements.
- Compile and present detailed reports on campaign performance, ROI, and recommendations for improvement to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on Marketing, Event, and Project Management.
- Proven expertise in promotions, event activations, and entertainment, with strong client management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with experience in high-level management and large-scale event coordination.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project, Teams, Monday.com, Outlook Email, and online collaboration software).
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish and French is a bonus.
- Experience working in international organizations and within agency or sports environments is advantageous.
