Job Description

Position Overview

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated TurboTax Live Seasonal Local Service Experts at new TurboTax locations across the United States on a seasonal basis. In this role you will serve as a trusted advisor combining tax expertise with an entrepreneurial spirit and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs. You will work on-site from a TurboTax location, assisting customers both in-person and virtually with full service tax return preparation, expert tax advice, and personalized support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Tax Expertise – Deliver hands-on tax advice and complete tax return preparation for a wide range of situations, from simple W2 filings to complex scenarios involving business income, amendments, or investments.
  • Be a Proactive Community Ambassador – Act as the local face of TurboTax by engaging with prospects, nurturing leads, organizing local events, and converting potential clients into long-term customers.
  • Educate and Communicate Confidently – Represent TurboTax with enthusiasm in your community, host engaging learning events, and demystify tax concepts to make them accessible.
  • Build Relationships – Connect personally with customers to address their financial concerns and foster lasting trust.
  • Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience – Provide exceptional customer service and support both in-person and virtually, ensuring professional and personalized assistance.

Required Qualifications

  • Possess active, unrestricted credentials – EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
  • Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law.
  • Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Willingness and availability to work a static weekly schedule (minimum of 24 hours per week) at a TurboTax location.
  • Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
  • Must reside within the United States and, if applicable, possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
