JHCP is looking for a Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide high quality care to patients at our Internal/Family Medicine practice in McLean, VA. The Medical Assistant administers medications and immunizations, obtains vital signs, maintains inventory of appropriate supplies, ensures safe and efficient patient flow, tracks high‑risk referrals and lab tests, facilitates safe transitions of care, organizes the practice environment to assure patient safety and quality outcomes, and contributes to HEDIS and designated quality measures.
Salary: Minimum $17.82/hour – Maximum $29.43/hour
Location: 6849 Old Dominion, McLean, VA 22101
Schedule: Non‑Exempt – Full‑time – 40 hours per week – 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsibilities: Administer medications and immunizations.
- Obtain vital signs.
- Maintain inventory of appropriate supplies.
- Ensure safe and efficient patient flow.

Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Qualifications: Certified Medical Assistant required; successful completion of the AAMA, RMA/AMT, NCRMA (NAHP), NCMA (NCCT), RCMAS (NCMA), or CCMA (NHA). Medical Assistant Certification exam must be completed within 3 months of hire.
- Requirements: Valid CPR certification required upon hire with recertification every two years. Additionally, five or more years of specific applicable MA experience in primary medical care may be substituted for a formal training program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience Required: Two years experience preferred.
