Position Overview
Join Procter & Gamble’s team as a Data Scientist at our CINCINNATI GENERAL OFFICES. In this role, you will tackle billion-dollar data science challenges across massive datasets, transforming untidy data into actionable insights using cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence techniques—including Generative and Agentic AI—and advanced machine learning methods. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and productionize scalable models while mentoring others and driving innovation in data analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Algorithm Design & Development: Directly contribute to the design and development of scalable Data Science algorithms.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Data and Software Engineering teams to productionize innovative models.
- Data Analysis: Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model building on large datasets.
- Coaching & Mentorship: Serve as a technical coach, sharing your expertise with peers.
- Expertise Development: Establish yourself as an expert in one or more Data Science techniques and methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Pursuing or holding a Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Analytics, etc.) or possessing equivalent work experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in programming with Python and experienced with data science/machine learning libraries such as OpenCV, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow/Keras, and Pandas, with proven ability to develop and test code in cloud environments.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capacity to influence and drive action.
Preferred Qualifications
- Analytic Methodologies: Experience applying machine learning, optimization, simulation, and advanced AI techniques to solve real-world problems.
- Continuous Learning: A strong commitment to staying current with new technologies and a passion for teaching and learning.
- Data Handling & Cloud: Proven experience with large datasets and cloud computing platforms such as GCP or Azure.
- DevOps Familiarity: Working knowledge of DevOps tools including Git and CI/CD practices.
Benefits & Job Details
- Compensation: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year.
- Job Schedule: Full time.
