Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Data Scientist to lead their Marketing Analytics initiatives. You will work with large volumes of marketing data, including customer behavior, campaign performance, and market trends, to optimize strategies and improve ROI.
Your Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze marketing data.
- Developing predictive models for customer segmentation, churn prediction, lifetime value, and campaign effectiveness.
- Extracting, cleaning, and transforming large datasets from various sources.
- Performing A/B testing and experimental design to evaluate marketing initiatives.
- Creating compelling data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to marketing teams and leadership.
- Collaborating closely with marketing professionals to understand their needs and translate them into data science problems.
- Identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking marketing campaign performance.
- Staying current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and marketing analytics.
- Mentoring junior data scientists and contributing to the development of best practices.
- Ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the analytical process.
- Communicating complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
- Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong focus on marketing analytics or related areas.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- SQL: Expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Data Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
- Statistical Knowledge: Solid understanding of statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
- Machine Learning: Experience with machine learning techniques and their application in marketing.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Cloud Experience: Experience working with large datasets and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Marketing Systems: Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems is advantageous.
