In this role, you will be selling PEO products and services by developing new clients and increasing the client base to drive profitability within the PEO Sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate under the general supervision of Sales management, adhering to quota attainment guidelines.
  • Leverage the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customer needs and present the Paychex solution to key stakeholders through in-person or virtual interactions.
  • Schedule appointments and visit potential and current referral sources, particularly within the broker channel, to secure referrals.
  • Prospect for new clients and referral sources outside the existing Paychex base via telephone, direct mail, seminars, client visits, or other local marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze prospects’ requirements, determine appropriate products, and refer to the correct sales partner to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Complete and submit accurate new business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports as scheduled by Sales management.
  • Onboard PEO clients by following policies and procedures for a smooth transition, and expedite resolution of client issues to ensure a positive experience.
  • Represent the Corporation in a positive manner at all times to create sales opportunities.
  • Attend partner meetings to educate on PEO services and processes.
  • Continuously develop technical, competitive, and sales skills to effectively represent the PEO Sales organization.
  • Travel outside the designated geographical territory as required for conferences, training sessions, and regional or national meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma - Required
  • 4 years of experience in HCM or PEO Sales
  • Valid Driver's License - Required

Compensation

Compensation: In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the compensation range for this position is typically between $72,000 base pay - $150,000. This range includes base pay plus commissions but does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.
