Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Medical Customer Service Representative to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to patients and healthcare staff, ensuring accurate order processing and timely follow-ups. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls from patients and case managers, averaging between 20 to 40 daily.
- Accurately input and process orders using the designated order system.
- Conduct follow-ups on orders that encounter delays or issues.
- Verify benefit eligibility by reviewing fee schedules.
- Submit and process authorization requests with insurance providers.
- Collaborate with management to align career goals and development.
- Provide clear and thorough communication to patients regarding billing and insurance details.
- Assist patients with inquiries related to durable medical equipment (DME) orders.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of interactions and transactions.
