Position Overview

The company supports business and healthcare IT infrastructure through managed professional services for diverse vertical markets in the U.S. and globally.

The NC2 Technician is an entry-level Network Operations support position that requires working in a strong team environment, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to work multiple shifts. The role offers a growth path into positions such as NC2 Tier 2, Sr. Technician, and NetWolves System Engineering associate, and provides a foundation for careers in project management, corporate IT, sales engineering, analytics, and management. Success in this role depends on effectively utilizing NOC resources and networking tools to troubleshoot and document network issues.

Salary: $18.00 per hour Location: Tampa, FL 33634 (In person) Schedule: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and track network trouble tickets and change requests received from customers and vendors.
  • Document and maintain records in the Trouble Ticket System while following established troubleshooting procedures.
  • Represent NetWolves professionally through clear verbal and written communications with customers and vendors.
  • Utilize NOC resources and networking tools (Solarwinds, SRM2, Portals) to analyze and resolve network issues.
  • Follow detailed instructions and apply logical troubleshooting skills to assess alerts and determine root causes.

Required Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of network technology concepts; A+, Net+, or CCENT level skills are preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of the OSI Model (layers 1-4).
  • Basic knowledge of routing, switching, and IP addressing (IPv4 & IPv6).
  • Previous experience using monitoring applications is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience troubleshooting Broadband Cable, DSL, or traditional telecommunications.
  • Enterprise network configuration or support experience.
  • Military experience.
