Position Overview

Accretive Technology Group is a global market leader in live streaming that aims to deliver cutting-edge products and services to our clients. The International Staff Accountant role is responsible for ensuring the timely completion of all month-end financial reporting tasks for nine European subsidiaries, collaborating with the accounting department and foreign subsidiary managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, accruals, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency conversions
• Monthly payroll payments for four European subsidiaries, including managing payroll correspondence from the subsidiaries
• Partner with local service providers as needed to review and coordinate international statutory filings, including bridging statutory financial and tax books to U.S. GAAP
• Drive process and reporting improvements and standardization efforts while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Provide backup for foreign AP as needed
• Handle special projects as required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related field
• Strong knowledge and understanding of IFRS and U.S. GAAP
• 5+ years of accounting experience in a multinational organization
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to seek underlying assumptions through probing, questioning, and listening
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to listen attentively and communicate information clearly and effectively
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team and foster a positive work environment; willingness to assist teammates to achieve departmental goals
• Basic understanding of FX and intercompany transactions
• Role is based in downtown Seattle and requires being on site – remote work not considered
