Position Overview

Inpatient Transporter – West Side Locations (Deer Valley or John C. Lincoln) – FT position.

Current Openings: Deer Valley: 8:00pm - 6:30am; 6 weekend days/nights per 6‑week schedule period. Holidays: 1 major summer, 1 major winter, 2 minor holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Transports patients by wheelchair, stretcher, bed, or chair – and performs non‑patient moves – in accordance with safety protocols and patient care standards.
• Maintains accurate documentation and ensures proper handoff with clinical staff, verifying patient identity and destination.
• Complies with established PPE guidelines and proper handling of patients and materials.
• Sanitizes and maintains transport equipment per protocol, reporting malfunctions and removing equipment from service when needed.
• Utilizes Electronic Medical Record system(s) consistently for safe and efficient patient transport.

Required Qualifications

• High school coursework is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training course (Clinical Other\BCLS) upon hire is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• At least 6 months of work experience in healthcare and customer service is preferred.
