Position Overview

Desktop Engineer (Physical & Virtual – Windows)

Location: Hybrid (Onsite 3 days/week) | Environment: Global Enterprise

We are seeking a Desktop Engineer to support and enhance a large-scale, global enterprise environment. This role focuses on both physical and virtual desktop platforms, delivering secure, reliable, and modern end-user computing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer, deploy, and support Windows 10/11 desktops and laptops in a global enterprise environment
• Manage and administer Microsoft 365 services, including device and user configurations
• Oversee endpoint management using Microsoft Intune (policies, compliance, application deployment)
• Support and optimize Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
• Package, deploy, and maintain applications across physical and virtual endpoints
• Troubleshoot complex desktop, OS, and user-experience issues
• Partner with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to ensure standards, performance, and security compliance
• Participate in endpoint modernization initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
• Provide documentation and contribute to best practices for end-user computing

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience supporting Windows 10/11 in an enterprise environment
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Intune device management
• Experience supporting Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or similar virtual desktop platforms
• Solid understanding of endpoint security, patching, and compliance
• Experience working in a large-scale or global enterprise environment
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hybrid Azure/Active Directory environments
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation
• Exposure to endpoint security tools and zero-trust concepts
• Experience supporting geographically distributed users
