Position Overview
This full-time, in-person role is located in Pontiac, Michigan and is hiring immediately. At United Wholesale Mortgage, we’re seeking driven entry-level Account Executives to join our success-driven team. In this role, you will connect with broker partners across all 50 states, help them bolster their businesses, and spotlight the advantages of partnering with UWM. You’ll receive comprehensive training and have a personal portfolio of brokers to work with, making this a high-paying entry level job with significant room for upward mobility and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with broker accounts.
- Impart knowledge about UWM’s Easiest Application System Ever (EASE) and our array of products.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering guidance and solutions.
- Keep updated and disseminate information on the latest industry products and updates.
- Ensure every loan deal succeeds.
- Oversee account performance.
- Construct and manage a robust loan pipeline to surpass sales targets.
- Drive sales at one of Michigan’s largest companies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in mortgage sales or relationship-based sales.
- Understanding of the distinction between retail and wholesale lending.
- Demonstrated aptitude in building business rapport.
- Proficiency with tech tools such as Microsoft Office, CRMs, and multitasking.
- Strong communication skills, both telephonically and in-person.
- A go-getter attitude with accountability and a desire to learn and improve.
- Full-time onsite availability.
- Must be currently residing in Michigan or willing to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the mortgage industry.
- Inside sales or phone sales experience.
- A passion for the mortgage domain.
- Previous experience in a B2B sales environment.
- Aspirations for a six-figure income in a competitive sales setting.
