The Mechanical Engineer will support shock and vibration (S&V) testing and/or analysis to support the fleet and S&V manual development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support shock and vibration (S&V) testing and/or analysis to aid fleet operations and contribute to S&V manual development.
- Design, prepare, oversee, and document S&V testing in the NNL S&V test labs and perform S&V analysis to support future projects or address fleet issues.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, effective program management, leadership qualities, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering, or science field; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering, or science field.
Preferred Qualifications
- MATLAB, ProE Creo or SolidWorks, ABAQUS
