SEO Content Writer Associate

Position Overview

As an SEO Content Writer at Goosehead Insurance, you will craft persuasive and compelling content tailored for diverse audiences. You are expected to produce high-quality content that drives organic traffic and improves search engine rankings by leveraging SEO best practices. You will collaborate with the marketing team and subject matter experts to ensure that all content aligns with our brand voice and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, SEO-optimized content incorporating relevant keywords to enhance online visibility.
• Monitor SEO performance and adjust strategies based on data from tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
• Upload and review content in the CMS to ensure accuracy and consistency before publishing.
• Conduct regular quality assurance checks and implement feedback from cross-departmental collaborations.
• Collaborate with marketing and subject matter experts to ensure all content aligns with brand identity and key messaging.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience with SEMrush and developing content strategies across various digital platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO practices, including keyword research, keyword optimization, and internal linking.
• Proven portfolio demonstrating excellent writing, editing, and content creation skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
