Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain an organized and accurate appointment calendar.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Check patients in and verify their personal and insurance information.
  • Collect co-pays and payments and accurately process financial transactions.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area and waiting room.
  • Communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in a timely and effective manner.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and ordering supplies.
  • Follow all clinic policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle patient inquiries and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent customer service and patient care.
  • Attend training and educational sessions to stay up-to-date on clinic processes and procedures.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Foster a positive and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
