Customer Service Associate I

Position Overview

We’re seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. This part-time position plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment for both customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working the assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions
• Maintain store cleanliness, including restocking bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and perform tasks involving frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments
